Total Prep/Baking Time: 10 hours
Instructions: Set on baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 3 inches apart. Cover loosely with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel & let croissants sit out at room temperature overnight. Preheat oven to 350 and then bake for 15-20 minutes.
Quick Thaw Method:
Use a Warm Oven: Preheat your oven to 100°F (38°C) (or the lowest setting). Place the croissants on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This gentle warmth will encourage faster thawing without compromising texture.
Once thawed, bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
(Note: Keep an eye on croissants to avoid any cooking or over-rising, as the goal is just to help them thaw more quickly.)

1. Thawing at Room Temperature (Classic & Reliable):
Cookies, scones, & cinnamon rolls: No thawing needed! Just pop them straight into the oven from the freezer and bake for a fresh, warm treat.
Croissants: For the best results, allow about 8 hours for your croissants to thaw at room temperature. This will give them time to rise and become wonderfully flaky. If you're planning to bake them in the morning, set them out the night before, and they'll be ready to go in the oven by breakfast time.
2. Thawing in the Fridge (Perfect for Planning Ahead):
Cookies, scones, & cinnamon rolls: These pastries don’t need thawing, so just bake them straight from frozen!
Croissants: If you want to plan ahead, place your croissants in the fridge for about 12-14 hours to thaw slowly. This is ideal if you’re prepping them the night before and want them to rise overnight. In the morning, let them rest at room temperature for about 30-60 minutes before baking to get that beautiful golden finish.
3. Quick Thawing (For When You're in a Rush):
Cookies, scones, & cinnamon rolls: These can go straight from the freezer into the oven with no thawing time needed, so you’ll have freshly baked pastries in no time!
Croissants: If you're in a bit of a hurry, you can speed up the thawing process by placing your croissants in a warm oven (about 100°F or 38°C) for 45 minutes to an hour. This will give them a nice rise while keeping their flaky texture intact, so they’re ready to bake in just a fraction of the time.
4. Baking from Frozen (For the Busy Bakers):
Cookies, scones, & cinnamon rolls: If you’re short on time or craving something quick, just bake them straight from the freezer—no thawing required! They’ll bake beautifully and be just as delicious.
Croissants: While croissants typically need thawing, you can bake them straight from frozen if you’re in a pinch. They might not have the same rise as thawed croissants, but you’ll still get a tasty and buttery result!
